In the First quarter of 2021, the volume and value of cashew imports reached 539,000 tons, worth ~ 839 million USD, up 174.2% in volume and 171.5% in price compared to Q1 in 2020. Tanzania, Cambodia, and Ivory Coast are the three main raw cashew nuts (RCN) supply markets for the Vietnam cashew industry.

Cashew Farmers have difficulty in Sun-drying raw cashew nuts (RCN), the rain causing cashew nuts in the drying yard to germinate, so the quality of RCN turns bad, and the price dropped.
