The amino acid composition of protein in black soldier fly larvae (know as calcium worm) mainly includes lysine, leucine, l-leucine, valine, histidine… In which, Lysine is an amino acid with a high value from the BSF larvae. Although BSF Larvae have slightly lower levels of essential amino acids when compared to fishmeal.
