Only in the first 4 months of this year, Cambodia export nearly 840,000 tons of cashew nuts to Vietnam, the highest level in history, and surprised all cashew producing and exporting countries in the world.

At the beginning of May 2021, the price of Vietnam cashew nuts kernels increases due to the Price import increased of raw cashew nuts. The price of W320 cashew & W240 cashew nut kernels from Vietnam Rise due to high demand while low supply. In addition, difficulties in logistics activities still heavy impact on cashew nut prices (lack of containers), increased shipping cost prices. W240 & W320 cashew nut kernel is the main product of the Vietnam cashew industry. It has been estimated that about 60 % of cashew nut is consumed in the form of snacks, mostly roasted and salted. The remaining 40 % is instead used in confectionery and bakery products, often as a substitute for peanut and almond.
